Storey Hospitality has partnered with principals of Broadreach Capital Partners to create Storey Hotel Management Group. The team combines decades of operational and marketing expertise with an extensive knowledge of real estate development, investment, acquisition, and asset management to deliver a customized approach that meets the unique needs of each property owner.

The Broadreach team is among the most respected and consistently successful development groups in the western United States. Collectively, team members have developed and managed over $2.6 billion of commercial and hotel properties. They have overseen the acquisition and operation of more than an additional $10 billion of office and hotel properties, and successfully managed more than 70 million square feet of commercial space.

Through a combination of private investment fund vehicles and individually capitalized joint ventures, Broadreach has a wide range of well-established capital relationships with many of the most noteworthy institutional investor and capital providers worldwide.

Flip Maritz, Managing Partner of Broadreach since 2005, also co-founded and serves as president of Maritz, Wolff & Co (“MW”). Since MW's formation in 1994, Mr. Maritz has played a significant role in the acquisition, ownership and management of 27 luxury hotels and interests in two hotel operating companies.

Under his leadership, MW invested over $2 billion in market-leading properties such as Fairmont San Francisco, Fairmont San Jose, Four Seasons Santa Barbara and Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica. The company also acquired 50 percent stakes in the Fairmont and Rosewood Hotel Management Companies and grew those businesses through strategic property acquisitions and brand development. Mr. Maritz served as chairman of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and was significantly involved in the development of Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, California and in the re-development and repositioning of The Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan.

Broadreach Capital Partners is currently constructing The Ameswell Hotel, a 255-room modern luxury boutique hotel, opening summer of 2020 in Mountain View, California.
